For over 20 years, I have walked alongside individuals and couples, guiding them to identify and transform the patterns that no longer serve them. In my practice with adults facing diverse challenges, I blend collaborative talk therapy with EMDR and actionable coping tools to facilitate deep, lasting healing. By integrating these specialized approaches, I help clients safely process past wounds and manage daily stressors. My areas of focus and specialty include relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, reparenting the inner child, anxiety, and depression.
Prior to establishing a private practice, I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University in 2002. I’ve worked for many years in school settings and agencies providing mental health services to families and individuals in need in both New York City and Los Angeles.
I believe that healing from trauma is entirely possible when we feel safe enough to explore all parts of ourselves, including our most painful memories. While trauma and unresolved pain can hold us back from the lives we truly desire and deserve, I know that change and evolution happen when we have the right support and tools. In my practice, I have witnessed how hidden within our darkest, most difficult times lie beautiful gifts of insight and possibility. By utilizing powerful, evidence-based practices like EMDR as a catalyst, we can unlock the nervous system, release the past, and create profound, lifelong transformation.
