Therapy Services

Individual therapy

Individual psychotherapy offers a safe, deeply respectful, and nonjudgmental space to give voice to your truest feelings. It is a powerful collaborative process that invites you to gently confront life's discomforts, opening the door to a lifetime of healing and recovery. In my work with adults, I utilize a strengths-based approach that integrates psychodynamic insight, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices with evidence-based tools like EMDR. I hold a deep specialization in supporting individuals through grief—including complex and ambiguous grief. Because grief can arise from any profound shift—whether the loss of a loved one, a relationship, your health, identity, or safety—we will work together to honor your experience, process the pain, and cultivate the resilient, grounded energy you need to move forward.

Couples therapy

Perhaps you and your partner find yourselves stuck in the same recurring argument, ready to finally untangle the loop. Or maybe you are navigating a major crossroads, wondering if marriage or parenthood is the right next step for your relationship. Whatever you are facing, you don’t have to figure it out in isolation. Together, we will uncover the underlying triggers and unmet needs impacting your communication and connection. By introducing practical, collaborative exercises, I help couples illuminate the root causes of their discord, break old patterns, and build a more secure, resilient bond.

Parenting Support

Parenting is a beautiful, deeply fulfilling journey—but it can also be profoundly exhausting. I believe that finding internal balance is the key to easing those daily frustrations and unlocking the true joys of raising children. Together, we will look at your day-to-day challenges and explore how your current parenting style impacts your life and relationships. Drawing on my extensive background facilitating parenting groups, I also help you gently examine how your own upbringing influences how you parent today. By blending practical behavioral tools with deep inner-child reflection, we will help you break generational cycles, calm your parenting stress, and show up as the present, grounded parent you want to be.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence based practice that has been proven to be highly effective for those who have experienced trauma.  EMDR therapy has also been very successful in helping alleviate distress in people suffering from anxiety, panic, post traumatic stress, or other painful emotions. EMDR therapy is founded on the basis that our emotional well-being is interwoven with our physical (somatic) state. Therefore, EMDR employs a body-based technique called bilateral simulation during which a therapist will guide a client through eye movements, tones, or taps in order to move a memory that has been incorrectly stored to a more functional part of the brain.

During trauma our brain processes and stores memories incorrectly. This incorrect storage can lead to past memories feeling very present. Related or unrelated stimuli in the present can lead to people reacting as they did at the time of trauma. The brain feels as if the past disturbing event is happening currently. EMDR therapy corrects this so that the painful memories associated with the trauma lose their charge. The client can react to stimuli in the present without the past interfering.
